U.S. Navy CH-53 Sea Stallion

Tirana, Albania, 16 April 1999 — A C-17 Globemaster III from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., lands at Tirana, Albania, to deliver U.S. Army supplies. Navy CH-53 Sea Stallions from Corpus Christi, TX, and Norfolk, VA, are loaded with relief supplies for refugees in Kukes, Albania. Operation Shining Hope is a humanitarian relief effort in conjunction with civilian relief agencies. The operation is bringing relief to thousands of refugees in Kukes displaced by the current unrest in Yugoslavia.
