Unites States Air Force CV-22 Osprey
Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, 01 May 2007 —
Three U.S. Air Force 58th Special Operations Wing CV-22 Osprey long-range special operations mission aircraft take off in formation from Kirtland Air force Base, New Mexico, for a training mission. The Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft that combines vertical takeoff, hover, and landing qualities of a helicopter with the normal flight characteristics of a turboprop aircraft.
