U.S.M.C. CH-46E Sea Knight

Okinawa, Japan, 31 January 2007 — A member of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Strike Force fast-ropes from a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter aboard Camp Hansen, during interoperability training conducted by the III Marine Expeditionary Force’s Special Operations Training Group. The MSF members also received several classes and practical application sessions designed to ensure the members merge into a cohesive whole. The helicopter support was provided by the MEU aviation combat element, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265 (Reinforced).
