U.S. Navy SH-60 Seahawk
San Diego, California, 03 March 2006 —
Pilots assigned to the “Saberhawks” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Four Seven (HSL-47), prepare for takeoff in four SH-60B Seahawk helicopters, to join the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) led by the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln
(CVN 72). Lincoln and embarked Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are beginning a six-month deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO) and the global war on terrorism.
