Moroccan HH-65A Dolphin
Mediterranean Sea, 07 June 2006 —
A Search and rescue swimmers (SAR) is raised out of the water by a Moroccan HH-65A Dolphin helicopter during Search and Rescue training with the Search and Rescue swimmers of The Amphibious Assault Ship
USS Saipan (LHA 2).
Saipan is underway to participate in a multi-national combined exercise with North African and European forces this summer during exercise Phoenix Express. The exercise will provide U.S. and allied forces an opportunity to participate in diverse maritime training scenarios helping to increase maritime domain awareness and strengthen emerging and enduring partnerships.
