At sea with USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) 10 Febuary 2003 — A CH-46D Sea Knight assigned to the “Gunbearers” of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron One One (HC-11), conducts a vertical replenishment (VERTREP) with the aircraft carrier Vinson as the guided missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) follows closely behind. The ships are part of the Carl Vinson Battle Group conducting training in the Pacific Ocean in preparation for their next scheduled deployment.
