At sea aboard USS Saipan (LHA 2), 13 January 2003 — Aviation Boatswain’s Mate assigned to the Air Department, V-1 division safely lands a CH-46 “Sea Knight” helicopter while conducting missions in the Atlantic Ocean. Navy and Marine Corps units are responding to deployment orders received to support the war on terrorism.
