Djibouti, East Africa, 18 March 2003 — French soldiers are extracted by a French Puma helicopter during a live-fire exercise at a French range. The commander of Combined Joint Task Force -- Horn of Africa, Maj. Gen. John F. Sattler, who attended the event, said CJTF -- HOA enjoys a cooperative relationship with French forces in Djibouti who have maintained a presence here for several decades.
