The Atlantic Ocean, 12 March 2001 — An SH-60 Seahawk attached to the "Gunbearers" of Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron One One (HS-11) fires infrared countermeasures flares during a training exercise while deployed aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Roosevelt is conducting carrier qualifications off the coast of Virginia.
