Fallon Naval Air Station, Nevada, 18 February 2000 — Adversary aircraft Mi-24 Hind helicopter attempts to locate a simulated downed airman for capture. This provides a realistic hostile threat to Search and Rescue (SAR) operations during the Desert Rescue exercise. This is the premiere joint services SAR training conducted on the ranges of Fallon Naval Air Station, Nevada.
