Mi-24 Hind used during Desert Rescue

Fallon Naval Air Station, Nevada, USA, 17 February 2000 — A Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter from the Army Test and Evaluation Center, Threat Support Activity, Las Vegas, Nevada, passes over on the way to provide simulated hostile threats to Combat Search and Rescue operations during Desert Rescue on 17 February 2000. Desert Rescue is a Joint Service Combat Search and Rescue exercise designed to fully integrate planning and execution of both immediate and dedicated missions.
