Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyer USS O’Kane (DDG 77)

Central Command’s area of Responsibility, 29 March 2003 — The Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyer USS O’Kane (DDG 77) conducts underway operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. O’Kane was one of many U.S. Navy surface combatants to fire Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
