Gulf of Aden, 02 September 2008 — An AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter approaches the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) during flight operations. Peleliu is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations.
