U.S. Marine Corps AH-1W Cobra
Pacific Ocean, 20 June 2007 —
U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Handling 3rd Class Zachary M. Stone recovers an AH-1 Cobra helicopter during exercise Talisman Sabre 2007 aboard the amphibious landing dock USS Juneau (LPD 10) while under way in the Pacific Ocean. The biennial exercise is designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting combined task force operations, which will help improve combat readiness and interoperability.
