Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, 21 October 2005 — An AH-1W Super Cobra with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced) soars the Philippine sky during a simulated airfield seizure exercise at Fort Magsaysay. Marines and sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Forward-deployed Amphibious Ready Group simulated an airfield seizure along with Philippine forces marking the start of the Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2006. Approximately 4,500 U.S. forces are participating in the exercise making it the largest U.S.-Philippine military training exercise this year.
