Camp Fallujah, Iraq, 02 July 2005 — An AH-1 Cobra, attached to Marine Helicopter Light Attack Squadron 775, Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (FWD), prepares to touchdown at landing zone east. The Cobra provided air support for possible Marine casualty evacuations recently. Due to inclement weather at their base Camp Taqaddum, the pre-positioning marked the first time the helicopter and its crew used the landing zone in support of those providing a rapid aerial response to the injured in the battlefield.
