U.S. Marines AH-1W Cobra

Atlantic Ocean, USS Kearsarge, 12 January 2005 — A CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter prepares to land aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 3rd class Jabin Rose from Palm Coast, Florida, mans a spot for troubleshooting operations on an AH-1W “Cobra” helicopter. The Kearsarge Expeditionary Strike Group and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are participating in an Expeditionary Strike Group Exercise in preparation for their upcoming scheduled deployment.
