Arabian Sea, 14 August 1987 — Crewmen service an AH-1 Sea Cobra helicopter on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Guadalcanal (LPH 7) prior to the ship’s entry into the Persian Gulf. The helicopter is armed with an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile on the right weapons pylon.
