United States Marine Corps AH-1T Sea Cobra

Zakhu, Iraq, 27 April 1991 — A Marine Corps AH-1T Sea Cobra helicopter passes over a group of Kurdish men as they arrive for a tour of a refugee camp near Zakhu, Iraq. The camp was set up as part of Operation Provide Comfort, a multinational effort to aid the thousands of Kurds who left their homes to flee from Iraqi government forces following the fighting that broke out in that country after Operation Desert Storm.
