The Mediterranean Sea, 11 August 1999 — Rotor-tip vortices mark the decent of an AH-1W Super Cobra as the helicopter is guided aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) by a landing signalman. The helicopter is assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Three Six Five (HMM-365).
